1. Not investment advice

Everything on QFinera — learning material, templates, calculators, data, AI-assisted text and member content — is for education and research. It is not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security, not personalised investment, tax or legal advice, and not an offer of any financial product. QFinera does not provide investment advisory or research analyst services within the meaning of SEBI regulations. Investments in securities are subject to market risks; you may lose money. Make your own decisions and consider consulting a registered professional.

2. Financial and economic data

  • Data comes from members and from third-party and public sources (for example the World Bank). Where we show a source, we show where the data came from and when.
  • Data can be delayed, incomplete, revised or wrong, and QFinera does not provide real-time market data. Check original sources before relying on any figure.
  • Calculators and templates are simplified models. Their output depends entirely on the assumptions you enter and is not a forecast.
  • Third-party data remains subject to its provider's terms and licences.

3. Member content

Research, posts, ratings and comments are written by members and reflect their own views. We do not check them for accuracy before they appear. Members are asked to disclose positions and conflicts, but you should assume any author may hold an interest. Report content that looks misleading or manipulative.

4. Broker connection (Zerodha)

  • When available, you can connect a Zerodha account to see your holdings inside QFinera. The connection is read-only: QFinera cannot place orders, move money or change anything in your broker account.
  • We store an encrypted access token and your Zerodha user id; holdings are fetched live when you open your portfolio and are not stored. You can disconnect at any time in Settings → Connections.
  • Zerodha's own terms and privacy policy apply to your Zerodha account. Holdings shown may differ from your broker's records; your broker's statements are authoritative.

5. AI providers

  • The research assistant works only with an AI provider account you connect yourself (for example Anthropic, OpenAI or a compatible service). Your key is stored encrypted and is never sent back to the browser — not even to you.
  • Your question and the research context you choose are sent to that provider and processed under its terms, which may include processing outside India. You are responsible for the provider account and any charges.
  • AI output may be wrong or invented. Verify it before relying on it. Text added from the assistant is marked as AI-assisted.

6. Payment provider

Voluntary contributions are processed by Razorpay. Your payment details go directly to Razorpay's checkout and are handled under its terms and privacy policy; QFinera never sees card, UPI or bank details. See the Voluntary Contributions Policy.

8. Availability

Third-party services can change, limit or stop what they offer, which may make an integration unavailable without notice. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third-party providers, to the extent permitted by law. Questions: [email protected].
