Voluntary Contributions Policy

How voluntary contributions work and what they do and don't give you.
On this page
1. Voluntary contributions
Contributions to QFinera are voluntary and are intended to support the development and operation of the platform. A contribution does not purchase shares, ownership, investment returns, or any guaranteed product benefit. Any available features and services remain subject to the applicable product terms (the Terms and Conditions).
Contributions are received by QCyberIndia, which operates QFinera. Every core feature of QFinera is free whether or not you contribute.
2. What a contribution is not
- Not a purchase, subscription or membership fee. Nothing renews or is charged again automatically — each contribution is a single payment you start yourself.
- Not an investment, deposit or loan. It earns no interest, return, share of profits or ownership, and it is not repaid.
- Not payment for investment advice or any financial service.
- Not a charitable donation. QCyberIndia is not a charity, no tax receipt is issued and no tax deduction is offered.
- Not a way to buy Q-Points, rankings, visibility or moderation decisions. Contributions never change Q-Points.
3. Supporter Badge
After a confirmed contribution you may choose to show a Supporter Badge beside your username. It is optional, off by default, and you can change it at any time in Settings → Contributions. Amounts, dates and payment references are private and are never shown to other members.
4. How a contribution is processed
- You choose an amount in Indian rupees within the minimum and maximum shown on the contribution page and pay through Razorpay's secure checkout. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
- A contribution counts only after the payment provider confirms it to our server — never because a page or redirect said “success”. Until then it shows as pending; you do not need to pay again.
- When it is confirmed you receive a confirmation email with the payment reference, and it appears in Your contributions.
- Contributions may be switched off at any time. While they are closed, no payment can be made.
5. Refunds and payment errors
Voluntary contributions are generally non-refundable once successfully processed. If a payment was unauthorised, duplicated, processed incorrectly, or affected by a demonstrable processing error, contact support so the matter can be reviewed. Any refund, reversal, or other remedy will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the payment provider's requirements. The full process is in the Refund and Payment Error Policy.
6. Records and privacy
We keep a record of each contribution (amount, status, date, provider references and any refund) for accounting, tax and dispute purposes, including after account deletion. See the Privacy Policy.
7. Questions
Email [email protected] and include the payment reference shown in your history.
